I find the void subjects fascinating and strange, as there is no sense of who they are, but an aspect of them like where they were or what they were doing in the past.
I made this body of work while wandering across the streets of Tel Aviv in the late summer nights. This is preferable time for a night bird like me. I try to reveal the magic which is over the city in the night -streets and moving objects look so different than during the day.
Yuan Tang is a Chinese-born multidisciplinary artist who moves freely within photography, video, installation, and print. She received MFA in Photographic & Electronic Media from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2017. Currently, Yuan works as a photographer and news photo editor in New York City. Yuan began creating “Comfort Zone” in 2021.

In this series, I have tried not to see the female face at first, so that the viewer's perception remains without judgment, and when she begins to see the rest of the photographic works, she realizes the feelings of this dominant musician.
