The indigenous people in Kapatcol Village, West Misool District, Raja Ampat Regency conducted an open sasi laut ceremony. The sasi area was opened after being closed for 1 year. Traditionally, the sasi area is usually managed by men. However, in Kampung Kapatcol, the sasi area is managed by women as a leader group.

Photographs of this trend create a reality that does not reflect reality, but prompted by subconscious, characteristics, the expression of unconscious fantasies. Something like unnatural, supernatural and mysterious.
Segregation by gender has existed in highly conservative communities for years, in order to raise their children in an isolated environment and away from any sort of sexual relations. But in most cases, this only causes sexual suppression and severe disorders in sexual orientation identification.

Ibrahim Iqbal , a freelance photographer and lab medicine specialist has published his first photo book in January 2022 based on his long term project on hospital. The size of the book is 14 inches by 11 inches , hard cover binding , containing 288 pages.

As time goes on, I realized that it was no longer easy for me to conceal my emotions. They are always abundant but restrained. Being with myself disengages me temporarily from reality and immerse me in the universe of emotions.
