The last thing Ian expected when he finally built a bridge to freedom for a group of enslaved prostitutes in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, was the confronting realisation that opportunity was not enough.
Trying to explain the concept behind my photography is never as fun as actually pressing the shutter button. Why do I try so hard to create the images I dream about? Why developed a style over the years in an attempt to define how I see the world?
Man has always had a fascination with animals and nature. We have on the one hand, respect for the forces of nature and the animals survival, understanding that we should live in symbiosis, but at the same time, we want to take power over them, control them.

A hunter to trap those individual moments in life which can be sometimes rare to see and to feel. This means that it is probably time itself with what I am dealing from day to day.
This film is an abstract composite of my memories and experiences from a trip to Rwanda and Uganda a couple of years ago. It was nothing at all like what I expected.
Wolf Ademeit, born 1954, lives in Rheinberg, a small town near Duesseldorf, Germany. The author prefers calling himself a hobbyist, though his professional life has been always closely connected with this field – he owns an advertising agency and a photo studio.
During the winter, when many of my friends are basking in the hot Caribbean sun at such popular vacation venues as the Dominican Republic or Puerto Vallarta, I could be found roaming the remote, sunparched back roads of the California Mojave Desert.
This series of photos I've been making during 6 years in different regions of nepali Himalayas. I've walked on foot across the mountains more than 4000 km and the most of them on the altitude about 3000-5500 m.
When the opportunity to work as an artist in residence for Mojave National Preserve presented itself I jumped at the chance. I knew immediately what I wanted to do. With my affinity for the night and the outdoors it had to be “Mojave Moonlight.”

In this work Andrea Alessio collects, as in an ancient bestiary, a series of animal images. The forest does not frighten modern man anymore. Its sinister night calls no longer stalk the minds of children.
From the very first instant that I looked through the viewfinder, I was captivated by the frame. The endless possibilities of composition, light and to shift focus. In many ways I think of an image as a concentration of life within borders.
Growing up, I was lucky enough to spend a couple of years driving around Australia with my mum, dad and sister. Naturally, I fell in love with the outdoors and still feel a strong connection with everything this incredible country has to offer.
Another element of my photography is that I love nature and love being out early mornings and late in the evenings with my camera.
I always strive to take photographs that express my way of seeing the world. The important thing for me is that people who see my photos experience the same feelings that I have felt at the moment I made the photograph.
My project is to pursue this work of studies of sea landscapes which for me represents a real subject the serenity of which I like passing on.The photographers whom I admire particularly are Ansel Adam, Edward Weston but also Michael Kenna, Yucel Basoglu or Volker Birke, among others.
