Images were taken ten years ago during our trek to Dodital Darwa pass trek in Uttarakhand when digital technology has just begun to come in photography. Although the pictures are quite ordinary, but even today it seems to be something special.

This series of photos was taken in May 2019 at Chengdu, the capital of southwestern China’s Sichuan province. Chengdu is known to be one of the happiest cities in China and has many famous sites to visit.

This project started with my longing to talk to strangers. Thinking a lot about intimacy and isolation, I started photographing my street encounters with couples who were spending their quarantine together in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

This portfolio is an experiment to try and see everyday ordinary items with a fresh eye. It focuses on the most familiar items around the house: food. Apples, mushrooms, broccoli, almonds, pepper, pistachio and walnuts are the models.
So we headed to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market next day morning. It is around 100 Km from Bangkok city and we took around two hours to reach there.

Art is for me a way of transforming reality with an expressive purpose. My favourite artworks are those that use the expressive tools of the chosen media form (in this case, photography) to materialize a very subjective vision of the human experience
