Donna Bassin is a photo-based artist, filmmaker, trauma psychologist, professor, and published author who was born in Brooklyn and now living in New Jersey. The death of her younger sister when she was ten years old and her family’s difficulty mourning have motivated and shaped her clinical and art practices.
Fred Brashear is a photo-based artist from Southern California focusing on the relationship between humans and the natural environment. His work, "While the Stars Look Down," photographically captures the otherworldly essence of the desert landscape at night, emphasizing the unique qualities of the Mojave Desert and showcasing the Joshua tree in a mysterious manner through the interplay of color, time, and light.
These photos depict an ascent of the Sierra Nevada mountain range from where it begins at a few thousand feet, to its heights that reach above 14,000 ft. Ascending the Sierra from the western side, it begins to take shape as one reaches 4,000 ft, where the foothills give way to mountains.
I see the connection between humans and animals is one of the most fundamental, but sometimes invisible, bonds that human beings experience. Animals and Children captivates me. Children seem to have a magical affinity with animals and I see parallels in their worlds.
Thin Places are what the ancient Celts named rare locales where the separation between our earthly world and another, spiritual world becomes hazy and indistinct. Their concept of cail ait ('kweel awtch') literally refers to mountain tops where the air is thin, but it more importantly reflects a spiritual thinness as well.
The artist and scientist within him are inseparably interwoven. Numerous aspects from both worlds unite in photography, enabling him to take an alternative view of the world and establish new connections among the elements of a scene.
In this project, known as "Coastal Odyssey", Paul Bihr strives to depict the delicate symphonies of French beaches, extending from the Opal Coast to Hendaye. He relishes in capturing unique moments like ominous skies, shadows, and lights that dissect the scenery.
What could be more banal around the age of 50 than trying to understand what is essential to our existence and taking a step back from the race we are leading within our society, and try to put this last stage of our existence into perspective.
The "Lichen Rock" photography collection features stunning and unique images of lichen-covered rocks that I have captured over several years. In this collection, you will be introduced to rocks that have undergone a long and evolutionary process to create beautiful and intricate patterns and textures.

The Still Life series was selected and published in our print edition 21. Daniela Constantini is a Mexican photographer living in Bern, Switzerland. She graduated Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York.
We humans are part on nature but man-made artifacts  in vast landscapes may also affects our mind in a different way. All I tried to express how much it attracts us in forms, colors and shapes against a vast mountain landscape of timeless terrain.
That is when I developed an affinity for wildlife photography: walking by itself is not much fun, but I am lucky that my little suburban island of Alameda is a haven for wildlife (especially birds), and it kept popping at me in the most beautiful ways.
