Images were taken ten years ago during our trek to Dodital Darwa pass trek in Uttarakhand when digital technology has just begun to come in photography. Although the pictures are quite ordinary, but even  today it seems to be something special.

In’ Transparent’ series I try to replace the concrete form of the image to combination of lines, shapes, colour spots by using different combinations of illusions and paradoxical forms of coloured clothes and light passing through it on the river bank that evokes an emotion/connection in the viewer.

Emptiness In summer months, Leh’s clear blue skies, stark landscapes and the deep valleys appear magical. The streets of Leh that used to be filled with visitors in summer now go nearly empty in the mid November.

Gangasagar Mela, spiritual and cultural event is one of such festival of India celebrated mid January every year attracts thousands of pilgrimage from all around the country.
