Europe

It was one of those days that I would call the same as a thousand others, when we immerse ourselves in socials to postpone the tediousness of real life. Sometimes I believe that Meta's algorithm perceives our moods; perhaps it measures the pressure with which we touch the screen of our mobile phone and, through an artificial intelligence, assigns it a precise mood.
From June 13 to October 12, 2025, the elegant spa town of Baden near Vienna becomes something extraordinary: an open-air museum stretching over seven kilometers. The La Gacilly-Baden Photo Festival returns for its eighth edition, turning the streets, parks, and gardens into a massive gallery of over 1,500 large-format images.
From 7 July to 5 October 2025, the Provençal city of Arles will once again become the world capital of photography with the 56th edition of Les Rencontres d’Arles. Under the theme “Disobedient Images”, the festival offers more than forty exhibitions spread across Romanesque chapels, former factories and other heritage sites that converse with today’s photographic creation.
I met Susana ten years ago, when she had just arrived in Bilbao from her native Zaragoza. Those were the days of her Antiheroes, which despite her wishes still "haunt" her. Since then, many things have happened, and Susana has specialized in the collage of photographic images, merging her profession as a graphic designer with her love for old photographs and their intervention.
In a world obsessed with movement, progress, and hyper-connectivity, (An)Organic presents a visual meditation on stillnesswhether embraced or inevitable. This ongoing fine art photography series explores the alienation of ordinary individuals through artificial figuressynth etic forms of silicone, porcelain, and other materials while subtle surreal elements shape a hypnotic yet unsettling atmosphere.
Holy Week in Spain is something sacred: a mixture of religion, devotion, faith, idolatry, and folklore. It was to be expected that some creator would eventually put generative Artificial Intelligence at the service of this event as well. I felt that Juan Pablo de Miguel’s daring, provocative, and futuristic video proposal had a perfect place on an avant-garde, pluralistic, and international visual platform like Dodho.
In March 2024, Regina Anzenberger returned to Tasmania — a place that has deeply shaped her artistic journey since her first visit back in 1989. This island, with its wild landscapes and unique natural forms, once again became an endless source of inspiration. During her stay, Anzenberger captured everything that moved her: riverbeds, stones, leaves, trees, and mysterious seahorses.
Whispering Forest is a photographic journey into the quiet soul of the forest a place where reality and imagination merge, where light and shadow weave stories, and where nature reveals itself as an emotional landscape. This project captures not just the physical presence of trees and foliage, but also the elusive atmosphere that lingers within the woods: a fusion of wonder, melancholy, and timelessness.
Aghori, most terrifying and scary Indian ascetics. It’s said that they exist between life and death. They usually live close to the crematory grounds and use human bodies for their religious rituals. They perform Puja sitting on the body and collect “human oil” from corpse fat. Aghori are scavengers – they eat human flesh – and this is why they are usually called “cannibals.”
After almost 6 years, I proposed this interview for Dodho and she accepted with the same availability and affability as always, even though she has now achieved important artistic goals throughout the world and her works are listed in important art galleries both in the United States and in Europe.
I love dunes - these perfect harmonious shapes and lines. Such perfect proportions, not touched by a human hand, are difficult to find anywhere else. Once abstracted from their surroundings, sand dunes reveal their beauty and clean forms, which can be presented freely from different angles, distances, and perspectives, and with boosted colors.
Reading the book “The Life of Forms - Philosophy of Re-enchantment” by Emanuele Coccia and Alessandro Michele (now only in Italian, with an English translation coming in Fall 2025) inspired me greatly and made me totally change my opinion about fashion and the object “dress.”
