The enchanting beauty of a girl with red hair and freckles smoothly nestled in the greens and the browns of a wood, embracing the wild nature in a dreamy atmosphere, a desire of harmony and peace rarely found in the daily chaos of the urban life.
The Italian photographer Nicolò Occhipinti wanted to search and focus on the most simple, pure and genuine form of beauty, not altered by a heavy make-up or post-production, but enhanced by a wise use of both natural and artificial lights, depth-of-field, pose, composition, color toning and styling.
Rather than showcasing images of an airbrushed model, the photographer accentuated the beauty and uniqueness of freckled skin, a striking trait that is often hidden in exchange for more smooth and spot-free skin. Each shot invites the viewer to look at the smallest details, at her skin texture, her intriguing gaze, her small wrinkles which show a dissonant expression of uneasiness or, maybe, sadness, revealing the personality and the emotions of the model, her elegant sensuality and, at the same time, her fragility and vulnerability. All around, blended with the subject, the fingers of a flourishing nature on her, the green leaves and the legs of a butterfly that lightly touch her skin and seem to recall a lost world where we come from. In few words, an example of gorgeous fine art introspective photography, a travel into the deepest parts of the human soul and the discover of the real essence of beauty.[ Model: Lucrezia Marchiani / MUA: Evant Ailin]
