    I live in Italy and my project is a collection of photos from places that I frequent regularly. From the Vatican to small shops around my neighborhood here in Sicily, these are the places that I have come to regard as home and are very familiar to me.

    I always cringe whenever I’m required to come up with a landscape photo for a photo contest or magazine submission. Sure, there are some phenomenal landscape photos out there, but in my opinion, landscape photography is simply a matter of being in a certain place and knowing how to use your camera.

    Photography isn't just a hobby for me; it's an all-out obsession that may require a stint in rehab. Then again, I might prefer to be locked in a clinic with a bunch of photographers with a level of passion that matches my own.
