All of these images share a sense of positive and negative space through clear blue skies or dark shadowed area. They show form over function. That was my goal with this series. 

There is something about the expanse of Patagonia, a kind of haunting soulfulness, that affects you physically.  Few places grab you like this and hold on so tightly and for so long.

The Salton Sea was created back in 1905 when Colorado River breached an irrigation diversion structure and water ran into the then-dry Salton Sink for the next two years.
