Driven with an invincible passion to encourage the photography industry, Dodho Magazine is planning to collaborate with Filter Photo Festival as their media partner.

To your surprise, as per the latest updates, the long-awaited 2019 Filter Photo Festival is about to happen on September 19 to 22nd of the month at Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, Chicago. The exhibition will give exposure to thousands of talented photographers, artist, and curators all belonging to different genres. The entire event will be having a fully organized programming schedule with different activities all dedicated to encouraging art. Keeping visuals as the prime expressions, there will be many industry experts, lecturers, and renowned photographers sharing thought-provoking advice with the participants.

For those who crave to explore mind-blowing artwork and are eager to witness unique creative contribution can even download a free magazine. There will be the QR code printed at the back of all festival dossier through which the participants can download the latest edition in a printed digital version. We have gathered some of the most enticing work of renowned photographers from around the globe and will be presenting their remarkable collection in our magazine.

A lot is being planned for the magazine edition, which you can get just by scanning the festival dossier.

Many renowned names will be appearing in the edition with their unique techniques to present art photography. Experts like Alain Schroeder with his super engaging captures presented in the catalogue Kim City will be there to share some thoughtful insights. Francis Meslet and his depiction of hidden stories of a normal household will also be covered in the Dodho 08 edition.

Francis’s photography is an undeniably compelling piece of art. He captures every detail of the place from the rusted chair to the broken table sending chills about the realism of the picture and story it hides. Adding gems to our latest edition, photographers like Gillian Hyland and Garth Lenz will showcase their work for the art lovers. Every single photographer we work with has a distinctive flair of creativity and depth in his work.

Art is a form of expression that can connect your soul and that’s what we encourage at Dodho. We look for ways through which we can motivate enthusiast and guide them to explore new ways of expression. We will be attending the Filter Photo Festival to contribute for expansion and betterment of the creative industry and to give you a chance to explore more of the art photography world through our magazines. We will be providing a progressive platform to all the participants.

Their projects can be published among the best photographers and be viewed by the best professionals in the industry and thousands of photography enthusiasts. Dodho magazine reserves the right to accept or reject any submitted project. Due to the large number of presentations received daily and the need to treat them with the greatest respect and the time necessary for a correct interpretation our average response time is around 5/10 business days in the case of being accepted.
- Between 10/30 images of your best images, in case your project contains a greater number of images which are part of the same indivisible body of work will also be accepted. You must send the images in jpg format to 1200px and 72dpi and quality 9. (No borders or watermarks)
- A short biography along with your photograph. (It must be written in the third person)
- Title and full text of the project with a minimum length of 300 words. (Texts with lesser number of words will not be accepted)

To send it, you must compress the folder in .ZIP format and use our Wetransfer channel specially dedicated to the reception of works. Links or projects in PDF format will not be accepted. All presentations are carefully reviewed based on their content and final quality of the project or portfolio.
