About Martin Gros

Martin Gros was born in the Reunion Island and therefore grew up in the Indian Ocean. He came to Québec in 2006 to study photography. After the course, Martin moved to Montréal where he now live and work as a photographer. Martin uses photography to seize the different dimensions of the world that surrounds him and to represent it back with his own vision and sensibility. His work, greatly influenced by his own personal search, is based in the movement toward elsewhere, to the other, and in the exploration of cultures. [Official Website]

I usually bring two camera houses, and most often it’s the Canon EOS 1DX and the Sony Alpha 7Rii. I fell that these two cameras supplement each other very well. The first is very fast, easy to maneuver, great at low-light conditions and is strong and weather proof.
