Kamila Karpinska / Lifestyle photography

A photographer born and living in Poland. She specializes in lifestyle photography. and takes pictures of people in situations where they feel fine. She loves the Mediterranean climate on her photos.

Most of her works were made in Italy and Croatia, close to Italy. Kamila says that she loves photographing people who always look interesting. She tries to paint pictures with her camera. These are sometimes quite abstract scenes. But her work always tells a story, intrigues people and encourages reflection.

She does what she feels well and personally likes. She listens to advice and suggestions, but in the end she herself always chooses what to show the world with her signature. Kamila believes that the image seen through her lens will give people a bit of joy, take them to magical places, inspire and give only positive associations.

She makes some projects for corporate orders. She has done a very good session for Divino restaurant. The restaurant specializes in fresh sea food, so the photos might show the specific climate of the resort restaurant. Every picture shows different features of the place. The restaurant is placed right next to the sea cost. Such an elegantly dressed lady fishing on the port dock next to the restaurant symbolizes that the fish in the restaurant is right form the same sea and it’s fresh as it can be. The presentation of fresh vegetable supply was very creative. A good-looking lady supplies fresh products to the restaurant on a stylish old Vespa scooter. The restaurant is a place for very elegant guests. Placed right next to the luxury boats harbor. Kamila took a photo of such elegant people dining on the old fishing boat. A luxury table and elegantly dressed people on the poor boat explain the combination of simple, fresh and high quality food with the world of high society.

Sometimes Kamila finds a perfect place and conditions for an awesome photo. So, if there is no plan for professional photo shooting, she works as a model for her photos. The example of “The snowy morning in Berlin” explains such a situation. It was a beautiful morning in Berlin. Kamila arrived to the hotel at night. When she woke up, there was a fresh snow on the balcony and beautiful light. Perfect and unique conditions for a good photo. She didn’t think too much. She stood on the balcony only with a towel on her head and made the photo with selftimer. Thanks to this she made one of her best photos ever. She is also a model for Damjanić Vina. This Croatian wine producer is a friend of Kamila’s. He ordered some pictures to define the image of his brand. He likes Kamila so much and trusts her so profoundly that he ordered photos without any suggestions. The one and only condition was that Kamila was a photographer and a model. So all the gallery of lifestyle photos of Damjanić wines is made by Kamila as a photographer and a model in one…

Right now she is working on new projects. Her pictures are more mature every year. She is improving her technique, but the climate, taste and feeling are still the same. Kamila established an Internet gallery where fans can buy her photos printed in high digital quality. She called the gallery Due Lucci, which means Two Pikes. This way everybody in the world can have her printed photos and own them www.duelucci.com [Official Website]

A Himalayan Journey By Abhijit Bose

The beauty of The Himalayan Region is its color and mood. I explored almost every season and made trips towards Terrain Region. It was a treat to my senses when I used to watch changes in color of a region just fifteen minutes away from another place getting washed in torrential rain. I realized nature as the biggest chameleon.

Turin; You Do Not See by Riccardo Surace

Turin; You Do Not See by Riccardo Surace

The project titled What You Do Not See, Unordinary tells the story of the City of Turin, my city, seen through the eyes of passersby. All photographs have been captured with a long exposure technique; in other words, I mixed then history of the city with my own history, my life experience. In fact, after five years spent fighting a disease, my artistic purpose is primarily that of representing the all too familiar feeling when, as a young man wandering through the city, one feels invisible, and yet still he is thoroughly involved in its daily frenzy.
Fragments by Anne-Marie Giroux.

Fragments by Anne-Marie Giroux.

Fragments is a project within a project. Since 2020, I have been working on an installation project entitled Drifts Drifting Phase II which will be presented at Espace Produit Rien in Montréal in April 2023. The installation proposes a questioning of human and artistic drift, theme that I have been exploring since 2014. Adopting a critical and mocking approach on the relevance of the very essence of the art object, I also question the relevance of being an artist, and particularly, the relevance of being a woman artist.
