Illusionism Photographic by García de Marina

García de Marina discovered, in a very casual way, the world of photography: when he bought his first photo camera in 2010.

Since the first moment, he knew he had found something special. So, he read books and looked for information by internet to learn the photographic technique in a self-taught. With the first images he was taking, he always tried some way to capture the viewer´s attention, playing with the elements, the prospects, the frames, etc… For him, it is important too to use color, looking for soft colors to achieve a certain harmony in the composition.

Little by little was introducing photographs in contests, always playing with the objects, and trying that the image has the message implicit according to the theme of the contest. Always called attention for the small details and everyday objects, those that go unnoticed to the eye but are present in our day to day. Manipulating the objects and looking for what he considers the best frame to photograph them but without using photo retouching…

…What does García de Marina pretend with his work? The viewer to play with imagination. This photographer was known thanks to Facebook. A little over a year he created a page on that social network and thus, García de Marina began to show his work. His surprise was that reached the number of 4000 followers in just over a year. [Official Website]

His short but wild ride has taken him to perform several individual and collective exhibitions, coming to grab the attention of the public and various media, both in Spain and abroad.
