Covid Wonderland; A mutual project by Eran Gilat and Sefi Sendik

“Corona Time”, unfortunately, severely limited our worldwide touring options!

We found ourselves trapped in the studio. We decided to create an alternative imaginative nature reservation adventure to satisfy our adventurous spirits. The still life visual artistic show via photography is traditionally based mostly on natural flora and fauna. Satiated of these genres (some by us, like ‘Life Science’ and more). We looked both for a novel still life imaginative wonderland of ours, we initiated a photography study based on various objects we found visually attractive to our eyes. We treated these, with various dyes, powders and cements and were amazed to watch a fascinating novel scenery world emerging. We found ourselves in an enlightening exploratory journey, no need for sleeping bags and voyage provisions.

Observers watching our landscapes, wondered, is it a painting? It is a “painting with a camera!”……We responded. Well we felt we are close to achieving our photographic wonderland. We let you take a free tour and judge!

We hope the pandemic time will soon be controlled, so we will be able to move around the world freely and the wired options will return to former proportions.
