180 beats per minute’ celebrates the determination of the millions of runners around the globe who push through sweat and tears to achieve their goals.

There are a myriad of reasons for amateur runners to put on their shoes and hit the road, from the search of a healthier lifestyle, through clearing their head after a busy day, through achievement, to self-actualization and becoming a better version of oneself. Whichever it is, what unites runners around the world is the courage, the fortitude, and the discipline to show up and persist through pain and exhaustion.

We admire the great sports achievements of professional athletes, and for a good reason, as they push the boundaries of what is possible. Yet, we often forget to pay our respects to the ordinary people who find the willpower to endure and try to be better every day. ‘180 beats per minute’ honours the determination of amateur runners and seeks to celebrate the power of the human spirit and the desire to do what yesterday seemed impossible.
