My Wonderland | KireevArt

You do not take picture just your camera. In this process participate: all pictures which you saw, all books which you read, all music which you listened also all people whom you loved.

– Ensel Adams-

Photography certifies experience and at the same time narrows – limiting him to searches of photogenic, turning experience into the image, into a souvenir.

I prefer created souvenirs of something fine. For these personal reasons i went some other way – transferring my creative focus to a research of the fancy world of own imaginations.

The general name of this project cycle: ‘My Wonderland’ begun in 2009. All decoration, dress everything else – is hand made. I like use small (also hand made) capsule with colored fog witch burn only few second and it very hard controlled where is gone. So all this stylization and effects really unique same as this photography. This self-made developed images and heroes of series unite a long-term cycle of the fairy tale experimental imaginations disclosing art style and my taste. It some surrealistic etude is the projection unconscious expressed these images is perceived more clear with knowing some theories of Carl Gustav Jung (archetypal images) and Vladimir Yakovlevich Propp (Morphology of the tale; Historical Roots of the wonder tale). ”
