About Christian Fuchs
Christian Fuchs joined Jesuit Refugee Service/USA as their first Communications Director in Oct. 2008 after working as Director of Multimedia at The Washington Times. In 2008, Christian was part of a team at the paper that was awarded one of journalism’s most most prestigious awards – the Society of Professional Journalists’ Public Service Award – for its investigative series “Disposable Heroes.” The series disclosed the unethical treatment of war veterans during a VA medical experiment. Christian previously held positions as photo editor and staff photographer at newspapers in D.C., Virginia, Texas and Florida.
