PUBLISHED PHOTOGRAPHERS

Patrizia Burra | Cover | She is a portrait specialist, she prefers female subjects for the possibility of “dressing them up, styling them and transforming them” according to her own inspiration. Patrizia’s work is based on three cornerstones: an unusual female imagination, the concept and love, in equal parts. With Patrizia Burra’s visions we travel and describe paths in the territories of femininity that we find in her images expressed with unparalleled power and grace. This photographer opens new gates to face unexplored places, sometimes feared and kept under control, by the women she portrays instead transformed into an explosion of sensual life and bursting with light.

Elena Molina | Being a child in a mundari camp I love travelling. It has been so, since I was very young, but it has just been recently that I could understand what it was behind. When I travel, I feel free, most constrictions just fade away. A vision of freedom, a feeling of not belonging to anywhere comes over me thus making me feel at home, no matter where I am, no matter who I am with. I would say it has been this passion for travelling which has brought me to photography and somehow, also to writing. So many experiences felt in depth, lived in a completely open way and with total honesty, with no taboos!

Christos J.Palios | Conversations | Christos was raised as a first-generation Greek-American, a son of immigrants. These two distinct cultures forged his personal and creative evolution. Socioeconomics, culture, history, and architecture fuel his intellectual and emotional intrigue, while the artist’s photographic work probes themes of identity, connection, nostalgia, and isolation. He says about his practice: The nexus between an evolving sensibility and a dynamic world is the will to perpetually explore new terrain. We live in hurried and frenetic societies broadcasting endless stimuli, inundating our waking lives and shaping our beliefs—an exponentially-hijacked 21st-century mindset.

Emmanuel Monzon | Urban Sprawl, Emptiness | Emmanuel Monzon is a photographer and visual artist based in Seattle, WA. He graduated from the Academy of Beaux-Arts in Paris, France with honors. His work has been featured throughout the US, Europe and Asia (through exhibitions, selections and various awards). Through his work, he explores and questions the signs of urban sprawl in our visual field. His photographic process is being influenced by his background as a plastic artist. Through my urban sprawl series, I want to photograph the in-between state found in the American landscape.

Riccardo Magherini | Hanoi | Riccardo Magherini is a photographer and visual artist. By approaching his medium in innovative ways, Riccardo often challenges human perception, condition and context. Riccardo found his artistic voice during a journey in Japan. From that experience he developed a way to tell stories merging different times and spaces, taking pictures as fragments all around the subject, composing and tuning them as instruments in a score.  Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Lisbon, Bangkok, Hanoi: his works, shot in the great metropolises of the world, sublime street life, recreating sensations through the time and space overlapping.Riccardo’s personal aesthetics continue to evolve alongside his continuously expanding artistic practice.

Ivaylo Yorgov | You Are Not Alone | Ivaylo Yorgov is an amateur photographer, an alumnus and a member of the BECA Before Creating Academy, the first private photography academy in Bulgaria. Ivaylo’s interests are in the space of documentary photography, photojournalism, and art photography. His works have received an honorable mention at the 2021 MonoVisions Photography Awards in the Fine Art category and have been published in ‘Shots’ magazine (Summer 2021 edition).
