Fractures
The vision for the series Fractures was to create a strange, post-apocalyptic landscape, abandoned by man. The world seems as, if it has been ripped apart like fractured bones. Now there’s only silence left, but you are still able to feel the aftermath of what may have happened here. The series was created by photographing fragments of rocks, paint, concrete, screw threads and clouded skies. These fragments were the building blocks for the artificial landscapes constructed in photoshop.
Sehnsucht
(n) “The inconsolable longing in the human heart for we know not what”; a yearning for a far, familiar, non-earthly land one can identify as one’s home. The series Sehnsucht gives you an outlook to several abandoned landscapes. Only a few souls are left; seeking answers that cannot be found. Sehnsucht is a profound, eerily quiet meditation on faith, nihilism and hope.
Voyeur
The voyeur does not interact directly with the subject, who is often unaware of being observed. The essence is observing, but may also involve the making of a secret photograph or video. The project is inspired by several years working as a bartender in Pigalle, Paris. Pigalle is famous for being a district, with many sex shops, theatres and adult shows. Voyeur is a staged visit with a pocket camera behind the scenes of one of these places. [Official Website]
