Globalisation, liberalisation of education and the explosion of the economy’s growth have been the backdrop to this generation, who have no recollection of the Cultural Revolution years and are reaching forward for some kind of personal identity
This project called “reconstruction” started 2 years ago, involving reenactors of my region, I started it as a documentary project, aiming to show the soldiers who fought in my area the north of France.
My name is Katrin Viil. I´m an Estonian based visual artist who uses photography as her medium. I consider myself one of the first (female) photographers who consciously covers the topic of erotic-fashion-fetish photography in Estonia.
Reflection of watching a documentary trilogy Godfrey Reggio with music composer Philip Glass was embodied in the atmosphere of my shooting "Koyaaniskatsi". In the Hopi language, the word Koyaanisqatsi means "life out of balance".
Aman Chotani , A Professional Travel Photographer who has found acclaim across major exhibitions and brands. His motto Travel to beautiful, Rusty, adventurous locations to capture untold stories, unseen traditions and unprecedented experiences.
The city is like a jungle, here you need make a choice: you can be a victim or choose the path of a hunter or you can be nobody, walk the streets, eating a sandwich, looking blankly in front of you and think that today is very similar to yesterday.
I love to take pictures that are calm and on point. Working together with the subject as a team I can build up a trust that help me direct the shoot in a natural way.
I'm a photographer Victoria Art from Kiev, Ukraine. I am inspired by talented people and photography "8 stories Vivienne", was devoted to rethinking creativity British designer Vivienne Westwood.
There is so much sincerity, light, and simplicity in children portrait, it is so interesting to take pictures of them as they are full of love, surprises, and are generally open to the world. I love and am fascinated by children's eyes
Photography isn't just a hobby for me; it's an all-out obsession that may require a stint in rehab. Then again, I might prefer to be locked in a clinic with a bunch of photographers with a level of passion that matches my own.
For as long as I can remember, I was always the one taking photos of my family and friends at parties and family reunions, using a disposable camera or an old, cheap 35mm. I just wanted to cover the walls of my bedroom, with photos of happy moments and memories.
I've been interested in photography for ten years, I was constantly searching for the iconic photographers. In my view people's real insight cannot be formed without a basic knowledge of photography.
When I finished my first novel, about one year ago, besides a sense of relief (I spent over a decade working on it), I wondered if there were any readers left in the world. At a very basic level, my book is a story about a photographer who needs a rebirth.
True eroticism should always be half-way between poetry and sexuality. But as an European (Romanian born) with Mediterranean roots (my mother’s family came from Greece) now living on the East Coast of the United States, I find myself being part of a culture that is both amusing and ridiculous in its faux puritanism.
