Amsterdam Girls is an ongoing personal series which I started in 2014. I document young women from all walks of life going about their lives in the city. We would talk about womanhood, going out, what it feels like to live in Amsterdam and 'surviving' in the city.

Ramona Deckers is an Amsterdam-based photographer. Her photographs are raw, uninhibited, and lay bare private moments. Her love of art allows her to get close to her subjects and reach a level of intimacy, honesty and realism which opens the door to beauty of the natural kind.Working with analogue equipment forces her to be aware of every frame and invites an element of magic and mystery into the work process. Shooting with available light is important as she wants to show things the way they are, in their natural glory. The passion for photography was born by traveling, for the need to freeze an emotion, to fix it forever and to have the chance to revive it, then matured also in an emotional quest for the daily life, but the journey gives me the opportunity to tell and remember the places through always unknown emotions,

What’s your inspiration? by Lisa Shalom

AmericaConceptWhat’s your inspiration? by Lisa Shalom

I always cringe whenever I’m required to come up with a landscape photo for a photo contest or magazine submission. Sure, there are some phenomenal landscape photos out there, but in my opinion, landscape photography is simply a matter of being in a certain place and knowing how to use your camera.

A token is a fraction of the whole. It is not the original, and it will never be the original. It is a sliver, a moment in time, to stand-in for that which is irreplaceable. My art series “Token” was inspired by that definition.

Artasura by Moga Alexandru

Artasura, is a concept series that started back in 2012 with the picture Roots. Back then I had an incipient idea of raw primitive imagery that would depict humans in all sorts of nature landscapes, but it was never explored enough.
